Back when I graduated from school, I started drifting around the country for a period of time. I would say that most people wait until after university to go around the world and try to find their way, but fortunately for me I had a bit of an advantage! I had a sizable trust fund that became available to me when I became 18, so I was able to pay for a soul-searching journey before most of my peers. I made the decision to stay in this country instead of going to Europe or Asia, because I knew my future was right here in America. My Grandfather had immigrated to this lovely country and founded a ventilation corporation. It was this corporation, and the smaller HVAC related factories he ended up purchasing, that gave me my sizable trust fund. It would be discourteous to his memory to go to another country, because he enjoyed America quite a bit. An immigrant without a penny to his name built himself an HVAC empire within 20 years. Where else in the world could this happen? Another reason I did my travels right after school was that I was well aware that my future was to run the family HVAC empire. I could go to university if I wished to, and I knew that, but my birthright as the first born son was to take control of the HVAC corporation as soon as possible. I appreciated 6 months of absolute hedonism, chaos, and total anarchy, so that when I returned to the family I could take over the HVAC corporation after sowing all my wild oats. I honestly view the HVAC corporation as a part of my family heritage.
