A Mysteriously Cold Room

Our home contains a room that would just never hot up the way the rest of the home did. This wasn’t so awful during the heat of summer. However, where all of us live, the heat of Summer lasts about 6 or 7 weeks. The frosty un-even temperatures are much more prevalent in this zone. So, the frosty room is vacant nearly year round. I tried a few times to figure out what was up with that room. I even called in the Heating, Ventilation and A/C guy to help me out. However, he legitimately wasn’t all that much help. He figured the way the home was renovated messed up the way the Heating, Ventilation and A/C ductwork was designed to give the treated air. His only suggestion, at the time, was to transfer the control unit to a more centrally located section of the home. This seemed a superfluous transfer to me. So, I just sort of let it go. But now, I have to repair the situation because I am using that room as our beach house office. Recent changes in our contractor have resulted in me being over a greater region. Working from home, when I’m not on the road, is the best solution. But, I didn’t want to freeze in the frosty room. I tried a space gas furnace however that was a giant dud. It just couldn’t do the task during the winter. I scoured the internet to see if this was a fairly proper complaint. I did see several groups discussing it. However, the majority of the time, it was the Heating, Ventilation and A/C that was overmatched. Then I came across what would end up being the answer to our problem. I found these little fans which are called room to room ventilators. They are able to fit in an hole in an adjoining wall. They are able to pull or push air in between rooms to equalize the temperature.
