An old world estate

I was having a rough time trying to figure out what kind of bedroom furniture I wanted for my new home. I had moved away from my parents home, and I bought a small home of my own. I was twenty-five, so I thought it was time. My bedroom wasn’t overly large, in my new home, but I wanted something that was going to last me a lifetime, and that I could take into my marriage, when or if my boyfriend ever asked me. I looked into magazine that talked about Custom Furniture, and a wide range of Draperies and Bedding. Some of them were absolutely gorgeous, but way too pricey for me. I was at an auction one day, and someone had just brought in the most beautiful bedroom set I had ever seen. I was afraid it was going to be way out my price range, but I had to sit there and put a bid in on it. They called it Old World Estate and there was this beautiful bed, master chest, drawer dresser and a mirror. The auction said how it cathedral cherry veneer, fine herringbone inlay with burnished edges and hand rubbed fonts. I had no idea what that meant, but I was in love with the bedroom suit and I knew I had to have it. I waited until he was on the second going before I put up my hand and I bid everything that I had planned on spending on my bedroom. I’m not sure why everyone else stopped bidding, but I’m glad they did. I had to call my brother and get his truck to take it home.
