The most difficult thing about residing in an apartment complex was getting used to the walls being thin. I grew up in a apartment out in the country with numerous siblings, in addition to the lot of us were as loud in addition to rambunctious as we wanted! I lived in that apartment until I was twenty years of age, at which point I moved into the town with a friend so I could be closer to university. It was quite frustrating to not only have to carry my laundry up in addition to down numerous flights of stairs to clean my clothes, however to also make sure I had at least enough currency in quarters! Still, as I mentioned earlier, the hardest change was learning to keep it down. I could clearly hear the conversation my neighbors were having on the other side of the wall, which was enough to make me feel as though there was just a large sheet of paper between us… What’s worse was how noisy the heating in addition to a/c devices were in those apartments! There were times where I’d be completely asleep, only to be so startled by the a/c turning on that I practically leapt out of bed! On the other side of the wall, my neighbors would run their A/C system from dusk until dawn, so it sounded basically like I was trying to sleep in a boxcar! It was so frustrating to me that these heating in addition to a/c devices were so noisy, yet they only kept the apartment comfortable as long as it wasn’t hotter than eighty degrees or below freezing temperatures. I don’t miss residing in that apartment, in addition to those memories only make me enjoy my new current household that much more… Especially since my Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C device is only a year old, so it’s still current in addition to works totally like a dream.
