Last year, my hubby installed a media air cleaner into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I have dire asthma and if I don’t get perfect air quality, I can simply quit breathing. Unlike some asthmatics who have coughing fits first, I only close up and I can’t breathe. I also have such bad allergies that just the whiff of some stuff can cause me to quit breathing. So, I require the purification system to keep the air quality pristine. There are some times that no matter what you do, it may begin to interfere with the air quality. We came back home from the grocery the other day and I saw the weeds moving next to our house. I figured it was our neighbors dog or pet, but maybe there was a little squirrel or rabbit out there. I didn’t worry about it, although I threw a little lettuce outside in case it was a rabbit. About 10 hours later, there came the most horrendous odor entering into the house. My small gift to the rabbits also attracted a skunk and he sure didn’t appreciate being bothered by the rabbits. The odor ruined our air quality. No matter how wonderful the new home air purifier was, it did not eliminate this odor of a skunk and it didn’t stop the allergies from acting up. I’m going to place a call to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C to have them change the filters for the new home air purifier because I would have believed that it might have rid the home of at least some of the odor, however it didn’t stop any of it.
