Barber shop nightmare

I have been going to the same barber for about ten years now. I am the type of person who likes to go to the same places and do the same things pretty much all the time. That’s why when I heard that my barber was retiring and was going to be closing down shop, I was super disappointed to say the very least. I started looking up some barbers nearby and decided that I was going to go and check some of these out. The first barber shop that I checked out was a disaster. I walked into the place and it felt like a freezer or something. The barber shop itself was super small but it had an industrial sized a/c unit for some reason. Not only was it super cold in the area, but I could barely hear what the barber was telling me over the loud and constant drum of the industrial a/c unit. The second barber shop that I tried out was quite different, but still somewhat miserable. Instead of abusing the a/c unit in the house, this place opted to not have any operating a/c at all! By the time that it was my turn to get my hair cut, my back was totally damp with sweat. I think that my next best option is to buy a pair of blades and learn how to cut my own hair. I really wish that my old barber was here to save the day with his fair prices and reasonable heating and cooling system.
