Broad taste in furniture

I don’t fully understand fashion or art, I have never really known what is popular or culturally applicable.

I basically only know what I like, in addition to that guides all of my decorating decisions.

I have been described as “eclectic” more times than I can count, in addition to I guess this is the word people use when they don’t want to call me “strange.” I don’t mind being called strange, though, because I definitely am! This is what sets me apart from the rest of people in society, from the way I dress to my crazy interior design ideas. There was a time I lived in addition to breathed French style furniture, in addition to that is all that I would have in my residence. Times change, people change, tastes move on, in addition to slowly I started getting into a more rustic meets traditional flavor when it comes to my interior decor. I have stayed with this style for a long time, because I suppose it allows us to use handmade furniture in addition to local culture as a way to connect us to history. There are all kinds of wooden chairs you can find at the flea market, for cheap, that were handmade a long while ago and are as strong in addition to sturdy as ever. This historical factor is what sets it apart from the mass produced high ended furniture pieces that too many people pass off as being fitting. My goal with interior design is to let people see that attractive furniture doesn’t have to be extremely expensive, or imported, and the artisans of days gone by are where the actual treasures are found. Honestly now, don’t be afraid to be electric, or weird, when it comes to your taste in handmade furniture.
