Central cooling

We’ve just had the first day of fall last weekend. There were large amounts of harvest festivals and youngsters doing fundraisers to support local homeless shelters and substantial dog adopening nights. The weather was fantastic, and the events were a load of fun. However i had honestly thought with a solid month of cold, fairly annoying rainy weather, that summer time was finally gone for good. We had already called over to the the heating and A/C business to come by and close out the AC and tune up our oil boiler two weeks ago. Then the people I was with and I get the forecast that the weather is spiking back up to 80 for one day of constant storms. I kept hoping it was a lie and that the people I was with and I had seen the last of this. I live in The north, our homes are not built to stay cool in summer, but rather stay warm in winter. Most houses here don’t even any central air conditioning, and they really are not built to withstand hurricanes or tornadoes. Sure enough, the storm hit and created tornadoes in Vermont and NH. Both of us got lucky that no one was harmed, however there was still a lot of property damage. One of my buddies had just had her condenser cleaned out more than two weeks ago, and now it’s been smashed by a tree in the storm. The insurance supplier says they’re entirely backing him on the claim, due to the storm on top of all the people already needing central heating service, it’s going to take at least more than two weeks to have a person come out who will rule to either service or replace it. I don’t like winter, but I want these absurd summer time storms to just stop already.
