Cooling at our hospital

The winter months are a beautiful time of year! Living in a single one of the southern states makes the winter time even better! The rapidly adjusting temperatures don’t normally drop below 40 and that particular low only comes about twice a winter. Owning an Air Conditioning appliance and Heating appliance is pressing during the summer time but not so much during the winter. I guess heating does come into play some in the South, but personally I never use it. I do easily recall a Winter time that the hospital used heat and it was way too sizzling for me. For all the others, it was beautiful. I was admitted to the hospital with asthmatic conditions and needed to stay over for an entire month. During that month the Heating and A/C appliance proved to task well! The hospital made sure they set the temperature controls not to be any lower than 71 during the winter season. So once I was settled in my room the heat was working and having asthma with no cooling air just didn’t mix terribly well. The hospital staff brought in a fan and eventually had to have service modify the A/C and Heating appliance in my room to allow cooler air to blow into my room. When doctors entered my room they figured the Air Conditioner and Heater appliance was broken until it was explained to them that I was the exception to the rule regarding the Heating and A/C system. The temperature control absolutely was changed and it allowed me to recover faster so I could go back to my dwelling and they could set their A/C and Heater appliance back to the normal temperature for the hospital.  It was a trip that I would not soon forget!
