Cooling while at the beach

I love going to the beach as much as anybody residing in a tropical state would attest, and a nice day in the sand, listening to the ocean as waves crash on the shore, sipping a cool drink plus just enjoying a few moments of calmness? That’s what I live for! However, it’s not always a trip to paradise when I go to the beach, then occasionally, there’s too many little kids around. Other times, there’s too multiple bugs! The worst of all though is when I forget to pack sunscreen, as I guess I’ll have to split my visit short. The beach I am near has no convenience stores for a long while, so I usually must pack up plus leave after an hour or many on the shore. The last time I went to the beach, I was so sunburnt from trying to stay longer than I knew I should, plus I wound up having to stay indoors for afternoons and hover under one of the vents for my air duct at home! I had the air conditioning system blasting cold cold air down on my sunburnt skin, as I lathered in pickle plus aloe lotion to help with the pain plus itch that came with my severe burns, but i was so thankful for my excellent air conditioning unit, as I would’ve had to rest in my bathtub with a ton of cold cold water to soak in, however even if I weren’t sunburnt from that visit, superb air conditioners are a non-negotiable element of southern residing. Can you imagine trying to care about a Saturday off from work, while hundred-degree rapidly decreasing temperatures and blazing sun are burning everything outside? You’d be agitated if you thought you could get through a day like that with just a cool misting humidifier, or a single box fan. I’ve got friends that come from up North to visit me down here from time to time, and they’re almost always shocked by how sizzling it gets here. The same can be said for when I go up there to visit them, although I still adore seeing them scramble indoors to rest under the vents, just so the cold air from my air conditioner can cool them off. This life isn’t for just anyone, that’s no doubt.
