Didn’t know what to do about the ductwork issue

I am honestly beginning to regret offering to help my Grandma clean out her household plus prep it for resale.

She honestly wants to transport down south to a retirement community, the sort of site where you have your own household, but pay everything through a single check like you do in an apartment building! It was extravagant, but a pretty simple way to live life, plus my Grandma wanting nothing more than a quiet plus simple retirement.

It turns out her site is a complete mess, needing a whole lot more work than I anticipated. It’s basically too late for me to back out. Moving the boxes was a difficult time, cleaning it was tougher. The main issue with the HVAC ducts was the toughest section of all. At some point in the last decade, squirrels had taken to living in some of the upstairs HVAC ducts. They basically made their way in through an exterior air vent, plus since Grandma never went upstairs she never actually noticed them. You honestly would have thought she would notice the smell coming from the HVAC vents, but it turns out she hadn’t used the central HVAC device in numerous years. She had a small space furnace she kept to easily warm up her feet on frosty days, plus an oscillating fan for those overheated days, plus never touched the thermostat. I told you she was an old dove, but by being so low maintenance she saved herself a good amount of trouble with the HVAC device plus the ducts. I was unable to get the HVAC ducts fully cleaned, she needs to hire a professional for this.
