Fitness class helps recovery from injuries after a car accident

I have been participating in a body wellness class at the core progression facility. I was recently involved in a car accident and I have been suffering neck pain ever since. My doctor has urged me to take pain pills. My chiropractor says my muscles are too locked up. Massage therapy, stretching and consuming anti-inflammatory foods have not helped me. My last hope is this fitness class. So far I have noticed some benefit from it. The fitness instructor leads an in-depth stretch right at the start of class. Her stretches are way more intense and demanding than anything I have tried at home. She also insists on a lengthy warm up before we do anything physically taxing. The exercises the fitness instructor guides us through don’t irritate my injuries. We don’t do anything that puts strain on the neck area. We complete push ups, plank holds, squats and crunches in an upright position. I am definitely getting in better shape. I feel more motivated and energetic during the day and sleep better at night. I am now able to turn my head side to side with less pain and greater range of motion. The fitness expert says I should get back to normal after another month or two of class. I am willing to try anything to improve my quality of life. The fitness class is wonderful for me whether or not it heals my injuries. I am so much happier about how I look and feel. I thought I would never be able to workout due to the severity of the injury. This health and wellness course at the local core progression has been a life saver for me. I finally have some hope of not only returning to normal but feeling better than ever before.
