In the decade I’ve spent as a legal adult, I’ve been through several hardships! A first relationship, as well as a first bad breakup. A first task, as well as a first termination. There’s been so several situations I’ve had to endure that were hard in the moment, however ultimately helped me become a better person. However, I will say that nothing in my entire life has respectfully prepared me for the endless supply of patience as well as perseverance I need to be a parent! As I write this now, my six month-old daughter is in my spouse’s arms, crying hysterically any time she is set down, but while my spouse as well as I are at our wits end, we suppose that sporadically a baby is just going to cry. All we can do is make sure the little one isn’t really suffering, as well as we just have to ignore the cries! One trick we did learn, thank god, is how the baby will relax if we set her directly under an AC vent. Thankfully, we have small-diameter, high-velocity ductwork installed in our beach house; this allows air to circulate out through the supply vents, so air will come out of the registers with a greater force than normal air vents. This makes it so that sitting directly under the HVAC duct vent is savor being directly cooled or warmed, which can be cathartic on a recognizably hot or freezing day. For the baby, being under these vents is more comforting than being in the arms of her own parents! We’re just thankful to have an ace in the hole when the little one can’t be consoled. Otherwise, I don’t think we’d have a chance!
