Summer temperatures make good hydration imperative if you want to stay standing. When you become hydrated due to lack of hydration and too much sun and heat, you sweat profusely and you could pass out and end up in the hospital or worse. The higher temperatures and the humidity, the more dire it is that you drink plenty of water and stay away from sugary drinks. Doctors recommend that you should find some shade for at least ten minutes every hour and if air conditioning is available you should avail yourself of it. More people have heart attacks, or die from heat stroke, during the summer, than any other time of year. Dehydration leads to heart attacks and heat stroke. Air conditioning can be a lifesaver to many people. I have had to work where water and air conditioning were nowhere to be found. The brutal heat and sun would around you for eight to ten hours a day. Now, most employers try to have an environment where air conditioning is available, close to every workspace. They supply water for their employees, so they have something to drink during their entire shift. Some employers still refused to comply to these changes, but that didn’t last very long. When they were called on the carpet for the treatment of their employees, they were asked only one question. How would you feel if you had to work out in the heat and sun without any water or air conditioning? Most of them said nothing, and the lawyer talking to them told them it could be arranged.
