Did you ever think how life must have been in the years following the Great Depression? Everyone’s lives were turned upside down. Those that had been wealthy, were in need of new ways to make cash. By the middle of the 1930’s, several new industries had come about as well as employed people in new factories. One of those industries that came from those hard times was the increase in HVAC companies. With the invention of commercial air conditioning there was a high demand for this comfort improving equipment. People were tired and ready for some fun. Many theaters, stores, as well as even workplaces now invested in air conditioning to attract purchasers; A evening out in an air conditioned pizzeria, followed by a show at the theater was considered something actually special. Many people did not have the ability to have this luxury in their new home for several years after that, however, with the industrial revolution provided way to that becoming more affordable too. By the mid 1940’s, post war families had cash to spend as well as it became more popular than ever. This week, several can’t imagine that air conditioning was considered such a treat to have! Both of us just suppose that almost everyone has it in their new home as a correct appliance. Both of us take several things for granted now that, back on the 30’s as well as 40’s, people only dreamed of. Between our forms of transferation, the appliances in our homes that can’t imagine living separate from, as well as even the amount of expendable income the people I was with and I have, the people I was with and I actually have it better these nights.
