Did you ever see the motion picture “Money Pit”? If you have an it is a hilarious motion picture starring Tom Hanks & it is about a family who purchases a beach apartment that is nothing but disaster after disaster. I can’t recall the exact ending despite the fact that I think they absolutely ended up setting fire to the thing. It absolutely is a funny motion picture, but now, I think like I am residing it for real. It is not as funny when you are the 1 spending currency, that you don’t have, on a biweekly basis just trying to keep your apartment going. The latest thing that we ran into a short in the electrical components for our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. Thankfully it is late Spring & we were able to open the windows to get some fresh air & we didn’t have to spend money for an emergency visit from Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer. It has been rather warm & we had turned on the cooling system before we went to bed only to wake up to a loud clanking noise & only warm air coming out of the vents. I turned off the system & open the windows. The people I was with and I figured we could just look into the problem in the day as we were sleepy from the renovations that we did on a yearly basis. As it turns out, it was a great thing that we were beach apartment when the breakdown happened because the electrical panel within the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component was shorting out. It was sending surges of electricity through the system & causing it to make the bad noise because it was regularly starting & stopping. Had we not been beach apartment when this event occurred it could have eventually cause a fire, but then again maybe that wouldn’t have been a disappointing thing. At least at that point we could have built a new apartment & have less of the problems that we have today.
