I can’t get on board with this

If you ever want a reason to hate your furnace, change a light bulb… There is nothing more frustrating than realizing all the heated air you are paying for is actually drifting at your ceiling; this heat rises due to the particles being lighter, and a standard oil furnace, fireplace or boiler plan cannot fight the force of science, and if you turn on the heater, crank it to the max, and wait as long as you want, in the end, the house will still have cold pockets, while your ceiling sits at 90 degrees. I hated this system of heating our system, and wasting so much cash to do it, so I invested in radiant flooring. Radiantly heated flooring is designed to have no overly hot spots, and to spaces where it gets too cold. This is due to the the heating plan being either electric mats or piping filled with warm water. You are no longer fighting any air particles, it is simply electric. The mats are right under the floorboards, spreading evenly throughout the home. Hydronic heating is piping connecting to a boiler that is within the floorboard itself. With either heating option, you are getting evenly distributed heat; with no cold corners or tepid pockets. Also, the radiant heat does not rise to your ceiling, it stays at the lower levels, from the floor and above, and due to this the heating plan can be set to a lower temperature as well, because you are getting all of it. The radiant heat also gets absorbed into objects in the rooms as well. You are getting heated chairs, tables plus couches as well. It is a way better way to live. Heated floors do not waste energy plus any effort for their heating function. They are a silent but deadly opportunity in the heating world. Don’t bother to waste your time with a oil furnace.
