Last weekend when I went beach lake house to visit our Grandfatherrents the two of us ended up having a conversation about what life was love when they were younger.
I am extremely close with our Grandfatherrents as well as I prefer chatting with them because they are so wise as well as clever, however a single thing that I somehow had never asked them was their childhood.
This conversation that I had with them while the two of us were in those various mornings actually opened our eyeah as well as made myself and others thankful to have what I have. Back when our Grandfatherrents were kids they lived in small farmhouses out in the middle of the south, and despite residing in some of the most tepid as well as humid temperature in the country they had no air conditioning, no fans, nothing other than taking a dip in the pond. Their parents made a relaxing residing back in those mornings, however in most cases costly things such as air conditioning was reserved almost exclusively for the rich. In fact, air conditioning was so rare that neither of them experienced A/C until they were youngsters. My Grandfather told myself and others so various stories about when he would work outside with his father from dawn until dusk with no air conditioning, no music, as well as no breaks. The next day they would wake up at the crack of dawn as well as do it all over again. I had recently been feeling extremely overwhelmed at university as well as feeling as if I had the weight of the world on our shoulders, however after talking to our Grandfatherrents I am starting to realize just how fantastic I have it.
