I can’t know that I forgot to turn the gas furnaces off at the church, then right now, because of the pandemic that is happening all over the country, the people I was with and I are not able to meet in person at the church… This has made things truly different for the church, however since I am in charge of making sure that the control units are set to the official temperature, this also means that the schedule for the control units had to change! I spent an entire day changing the schedules of all of the control units at the church so that the gas furnaces wouldn’t turn on unless the temperature at the church dropped below a particular temperature.
The only control units that I left programmed were the control units that were controlling the gas furnaces in the auditorium where the people I was with and I movieed our live services! However, yupterday, while preparing for 1 of the largest afternoons of the year, the people I was with and I had all of the gas furnaces turned on to keep the entire church warm.
The two of us were in most of the building, so the gas furnaces needed to keep everyone warm. However, I felt enjoy such an idiot when I forgot to turn the gas furnaces off. I didn’t even realize the gas furnaces were on until I came back to the church the following week, then do you know how much money on electricity and natural gas that I wasted because I didn’t remember to turn off the gas furnaces? I am afraid that our pastor is going to be truly irritated with me. I wish that the people I was with and I were just having normal services again so that I wouldn’t have to worry about the Heating and A/C unit.
