I am fortunate to be able to job from home. I set our own minutes, & often job in the days. I properly dress in our pajamas, sip tepid Coca-Cola & blast our spotify. However, I also put in really long minutes & need to be as productive possible. I can’t afford a bunch of distractions. Because of this, I invested quite a bit of money into an ergonomic swivel chair & a large, sturdy desk. I have a state-of-the-art desktop computer with a giant monitor & Bose sound system. When I first set up our lake apartment office, I was sure I’d thought of everything. It didn’t occur to myself and others that I’d be heating & cooling the entire apartment to the ideal temperature. With only a single control unit, I had no choice however to keep every room the same temperature as our office. Those empty rooms were costing myself and others a fortune in utility bills. Plus, if I wanted to make a change to the temperature setting, I needed to leave our desk, walk into the dining room & adjust the control component manually. I finally hired a local Heating & A/C company to supply some help, He recommended that I update our Heating & A/C plan to zone control & a series of smart control units. The process was simple, absolutely cost-effective & totally worthwhile. I can now regulate temperature independently in every room. During the workday, I only maintain our office to the perfect comfort level, which saves myself and others a tremendous amount of money. I have access to all features of the heating & cooling plan through an app on our smartphone.
