There’s a state park near my beach house that I visit at least once a week. It’s an undoubtedly unbelievable site, plus I feel lucky to have access to it! Sometimes when I go out there I end up staying all day because there are tons of trails plus areas to explore. Then last weekend I actually went camping out there for a couple of evenings. I enjoyed the adventure, but by the end of it I was ready to get back to my beach house. Unfortunately the changing temperatures were unusually high last weekend, so not having access to an air conditioning system was tough. Then when I made it back I was so exhausted that I cranked up the heating and A/C unit and just collapsed on the couch. I could enjoy the chilly air pumping, so much that I slept for more three hours straight! My outing made me realize how much I love nature, but also how much I love my air conditioning system all at the same time. I’ve entirely been contemplating taking a week long trip to a peculiar park that’s a few minutes away from where I live, however I guess that I need some more experience with longer camping trips before I do that. A week without an air conditioning system in the woods sounds both fun plus challenging. I guess that I could survive for a week, however I don’t want to be uncomfortable the entire time. Maybe I should try a three our four day trek before I do the week long trip in completely new territory, however. Or I could just bring a portable air conditioning system along in our truck. That would be the dream!
