I have many settings on the thermostat that I use while in the warm season; One is down to seventy when I am getting ready to sleep at night. Being chilly at night really helps myself and others sleep a lot better. When I am home while in the day, I have the air set to the mid-seventies. It’s usually not too tepid or too chilly for me. When I leave my home and the weather is warm, I love to turn my thermostat up to the high seventies, and periodically all the way up to eighty. That way the air isn’t constantly blowing in a futile attempt to keep my home cool while I am not even there. When I come back home, there are days where I don’t touch the thermostat until I go to bed, because I’m so content in a moderate apartment. There was 1 day, but, where this did not last very long. I was resting on the couch enjoying a motion picture when I realized I was really getting very hot. I paused the motion picture and walked over to the thermostat, turning it down to my correct at-home temperature. The HVAC unit started up, and I walked back over to the couch to continue enjoying the film. It wasn’t even more than four minutes later when I was abruptly chilly! Maybe it was the fact that the vent was blowing right on me, however I had to grab a throw blanket and throw it over my legs almost instantly. I couldn’t believe myself, and I had to laugh. I had just been way too tepid no less than ten minutes ago, and I was chilly in a matter of minutes. It’s a fantastic thing I have sweatpants and throw blankets!
