I smell something burning

Thanks to my job, I do significant amounts of traveling, and I often get the job done weekends. I put in really extended stays, and I rarely get to spend anytime at home. When I manage for the day off from work, It’s my job to spend it catching up concerning household tasks. I dedicate the whole day to doing laundry, cleaning, and handling upkeep on various appliances. Last January, I took a whole weekend off as a result of severe weather. The outside temperature was down to twenty below zero, and it was subsequently snowing like crazy. The highways were in terrible shape, and there was a winter travel advisory. Because it was actually unsafe to travel, I felt justified in using the weekend off. I spent the first day doing most of the necessary household chores. I came down to excited that I could spend every bit of Sunday simply relaxing. I decided which would stay in my pajamas for hours on end, read books, and watch television. I bumped up the thermostat with the chilly outdoor temperatures, and expected my furnace to warm up my house. Instead, there was a giant gust of dust and a dreadful grinding noise, and then my own furnace completely quit. With many of these severe weather, the inside of my house quickly turned super cold. I’d a very difficult time finding an HVAC contractor who had been willing to provide service, with the dangerous road conditions. It took the HVAC technician a lot of time to arrive at my dwelling, and by then I may see my breath. Because involving my malfunctioning furnace, my leisurely day at home turned out to be horribly stressful.
