Around 4 months ago, I started absolutely working at a government building in the city. The office building is set up with a few smart features. The building is also set up with an automation system. Almost each thing inside of the building is automated, which includes the lights, Heating & A/C system, & the alarms. The automated lighting plan is set up with motion sensors. The lights only come on, when motion is clued in a room, then sadly, the lights won’t come on if the motion sensors are not absolutely working. Every one of us had some concerns last week, when the people I was with and I could not get the lights to switch on in the conference room. Every one of us were setting up for a date with foreign investors, & I was in charge of setting up the conference room. I was hoping for the lights to come on, the hour that I entered the room. Sadly, the room was dark & dank. I tried moving around the room, wishing that the motion detectors would sense my body movement. When the automated lights failed to turn on, I instantly contacted the building supervisor. The building supervisor is in clear charge of our automatic features, like the lighting system, alarms, & Heating & A/C sensors. Every one of us consistently have a certified building management plan operator on call. It took almost around an hour, however the building management operator finally repaired the automated lighting system. The motion sensor was not that great & needed to be updated.
