I was severely uncomfortable the last time I lived in a college town

I have to say, today has been kind of odd already.

I woke up with my brain focused on the future. I’m thinking a great deal about a potential task offer that I’m receiving, and wondering what my best move is. The huge decision has me in a bit of a tailspin because I finally felt like I was starting to establish a life in this major area. It’s honestly the biggest place that I ever lived in, and I was finally starting to feel that I was a part of the hustle and bustle. This modern task would be located in a smaller college town, and it has got my wheels spinning. Frankly, I cannot stop thinking about the last time that I resided in a college town. To be fair it was severely uncomfortable. Back then, I was an undergrad and I was severely poor. I lived in an apartment that had a single A/C device and a severely outdated radiator oil furnaceā€¦ All Summer long, the people I was with and I boiled inside of that apartment. There was not reasonable air flow or A/C to keep anybody comfortable in the slightest. I barely slept a wink, I was too tied up dripping with sweat through my sheets every single night. In the winter, I was frosty unless I could rest directly in front of my radiator in my room. If I needed to do college work, I had to position myself within three feet of the small heating device. My memories from that time are filled with struggle and physical discomfort, although I shouldn’t let that deter me from an exciting opportunity.
