When it comes to DIY projects, our sibling is something of a fanatic. In spite of her apprentice-level expertise with trade skills, she actively takes on any project that professional corporations deem “user friendly”. To supply him credit, she has successfully updated toilets in both bathrooms of her house, as well as only caused a major water leak a single time! Most recently though, she was sold on buying as well as installing a ductless mini-cut system for her house. As soon as her respected Heating plus A/C service professional said it was within the realm of occasion for our sibling to install it himself, she suddenly gathered the tools, bought the system components as well as got to work! Still, it was only a few hours into her installation that our sibling called me, asking to help him with the “heavy lifting”. When I arrived, our dear sibling told me she wasn’t sure how sizable of a hole she needed to make in the wall to push cables through. She explained that the ductless mini-cut system simply needed the user to bore a hole through the wall, through which the necessary cords would pass as well as connect to the indoor air handler. Honestly, she didn’t actually need our help anyway – she just wanted a fresh set of rules to make sure she wasn’t cutting a hoops-sized hole in the wall. More often than not, our sibling just wants someone to gloat to as soon as she successfully finishes another project. We’ll see how much she likes to gloat when she screws a single of these projects up someday!
