Inconsistent weather causes spike in illness

No matter how hard I try to avoid it, I always fall ill around the same time each year.

It starts with a tickle in my throat and then the unexplainable fatigue. The body aches and chills follow shortly after. Within 24 hours, I am completely indisposed and useless. The only thing to do is to sleep it off and stay hydrated. The most frustrating part of trying to sleep while being ill is the temperature of the house you are trying to rest in. With the back and forth of chills and sweats, it is almost impossible to stay comfortable. The best part about having a smart thermostat is being able to adjust the temperature of the house from the couch without having to get up to do so. When I am sweating, I turn the temperature in the house down very low. A few minutes later when I am shivering and cold, I can kick the heat on from the comfort of my sofa. It is typical for people to be ill when the temperature outside switches from hot to cold and back in a short period of time. I can usually tell when I am about to fall ill and that is when the weather becomes bipolar. The first sign of sickness for me is usually the sore throat. I try to nip that in the bud immediately. If I experience a full illness, it makes me happy to know that I have a smart thermostat to keep me comfortable.
