I have a little building in my backyard that’s about the size of a 1-car garage. This shed is the perfect locale to store my grass tools plus other lawn tools. But for several years I’ve consistently wanted to use the space for my hobby of painting. I am afraid to paint in my house, as there’s no room or safe locale for me to paint without fear of dropping paint on the floor or furniture! Only problem with painting in the shed, is the unforgiving heat of the summer months. It could be in the low eighties outside, but that turns my shed into a giant oven and warms the interior until it’s almost a hundred plus degrees! The shed is well insulated, but there’s nothing in it that absolutely cools it down, I have decided that I would look into buying a small air conditioner for the shed, however from what I could find online, a ductless a/c seemed the best and most logical choice. These ductless systems were meant to cool single rooms, ductless a/cs are just an indoor unit plus an outdoor condenser. Online experts claimed that installation is so self-explanatory, I could do it myself! After checking prices for complete ductless systems that come with installation kits, I found that there was a system available at the hardware store down the street from me. Soon I was cautiously following installation guides, both given to me by the hardware store and online, I was able to get my new ductless system installed in a single day. I’m so blissful I was able to make this happen, because I can finally paint in my shed without fear of ruining a carpet, or being covered in sweat.!
