For as long as I can remember our family has referred to me as the “ice queen”. I recognize it might sound like a exhausting thing, but I recognize they don’t mean it that way at all. They mean that I appreciate all things cold. I appreciate swimming in freezing water, taking freezing showers and eating freezing treats. I believe I have been this way since I was a little girl, because everyone calls me the “ice queen”now, even our friends at university. As the ice queen, I also appreciate to keep our house particularly freezing with the air conditioner blasting. When I was residing at our parents house this was proving to be a problem. However, now that I live on our own. I can set the temperature control to whatever I want and I don’t have to worry about what other people have to say about it. I like to keep our temperature control set to about sixty-eight degrees and if it is a particularly sizzling morning I will set it even lower. My energy bills are pretty high, but I truthfully can’t do anything if I am too sizzling in our own house. When I have friends over at our locale, they are typically complaining about how freezing it is. I have to keep a bunch of extra blankets around the house so they don’t freeze. I have never even touched those blankets because I don’t need them. I recognize I should be referred to as the ice queen for the rest of our life!
