I remember back in the day, when I used to rent an apartment with two of my best friends. Good times, only because it was the first and only place we had lived in outside of our parents houses! It was paradise for a long time, as we threw parties and had the time of our lives! Like all good things though, it just took a little time, a few friends moving away, and some real-world experience before we realized that renting was a pointless endeavor when we had no reason to rent. When you rent, you never get anything in the long term! The place will never become yours and you could be moved out at any time, so what’s the point if you can’t put roots down? Rather than waiting to buy a big house, we invested in a double-wide trailer. It has cable, wireless internet, an incredibly powerful Heating and A/C system, and everything else a couple of aspiring music producers need to make a house into a studio. In fact, the air conditioner we have here, not to mention the oil furnace, would be better suited for a full sized two-story home! These pieces of equipment take up a whole lot of space we don’t really have, and they provide much more intense levels of climate control than needed for a small place like ours. I think the last owner for this place though loading it up with such immense Heating and A/C equipment would help him save money, but it’s quite the opposite! Not only are they both actually bulky in addition to getting in the way all the time, but they also have to be ran with care. If not, the heating or cooling levels get out of hand in short order! Maybe we can sell off these fancy high end Heating and A/C models, turn around in addition to buy smaller pieces of equipment for the mobile home.
