In this new week, I am so happy to start off with an organic tea that I truly believe that you’ve heard of- that, of course, is mint tea.
Mint tea is certainly my number one choice. I was initially introduced to mint tea in my year abroad studying in Spain. All of the new, meaty, cuisine and frequency of meals had me feeling severely bloated and sluggish. I went to a restaurant where they had all kinds of organic teas and ordered a cup of mint tea because I had read that it helped soothe the stomach in an amazing way. Boy, was that article on point! I have not stopped drinking mint tea since that time and I am so happy to share some of mint tea’s remarkable benefits with you today. Mint tea can help with weight loss. Mint tea helps you feel completely full so you’ll eat a great deal less and- take it from me- the weight loss benefits alone warrant supplying mint tea a try. Mint tea also helps you rest better. Caffeine free mint tea in particular works by helping relax your muscles (which will ease that tension in your shoulders and help you sleep through the night!). I mentioned before that mint tea is able to soothe your stomach, but mint tea also aids in digestion because mint tea helps balance your body. Naturally, as an organic tea that helps balance your body, mint tea is truly wonderful for the immune system. Mint tea helps fill in the gaps of what your body really needs. Finally, one benefit you might not have actually thought about, is that mint tea improves your breath a great deal! Mint in general is a nice way to keep your breath smelling minty fresh but mint tea also helps by getting rid of the bacteria that contribute to smelly breath.
