My friend runs his own store

I played snare drum for our high college’s Maying band plus became close friends with one of the bass drum players named Tom. Tom plus I bonded over the same songs—a melange of jazz, hip hop, rock, plus electronic—and the two of us both dreamed of playing drums professionally someday. It’s several years later plus I work as an assistant chef at a giant hotel, hardly anything in the ballpark of a laboring songsian. Tom on the other hand runs a songs store out of his home in the rural country. Both of us relinked on social media last year plus he had long been inviting myself and others to drive out to his place plus visit his shop. I finally made the time to pay him a visit plus figured I might even purchase something from his store. I’m still a hobbyist despite laboring in food service, so I considered picking up a current cymbal or a pair of sticks at the certainly least. When he led myself and others inside, I realized instantaneously that he had converted a former four car garage into a showroom, practice area, plus workshop, all-in-one. But the first thing that stood out to myself and others was theoverheatedhumid air inside the garage. Despite all of the major doors shut—and just a single one in the back that he led myself and others through—the air was still plus uncomfortable. I asked him if he had air conditioning plus he told myself and others that it wasn’t necessary. If it got overly hot, he opened the main doors to the garage, he said. Otherwise he saw no reason to keep the space temperature controlled. Sadly, he had several fancy guitars hanging in his showroom. Without humidity control, the wood soaks up moisture in the air plus leads to warping, in some cases making an otherwise amazing instrument completely unplayable. When I noticed the neck warping on a random $2,000 guitar, I just shook our head in disbelief. I bought a pair of drum sticks despite the fact that I doubt I’ll ever use them. There are some places where air conditioning is mandatory, plus anywhere that sells or stores fancy instruments is such a place.
