I’m a firm believer in planning for the worst while always hoping for the best.
I suppose more than 2 friends of mine who have lost their minds amid the pandemic.
A lot of them thought this would be a temporary problem that we’d simply overcome in a few weeks, however now the numbers on infection rates & fatalities are the worst they have ever been. Just weeks ago more than 2 were flocking to bars & diners to escape their involuntary self-isolation, however now we’re seeing modern lockdowns across the country & throughout the world. I told myself when this all started that the global economy could collapse, & at that point it was anyone’s guess what would happen or result from that. Nothing that awful has happened yet, however preparing myself mentally for the situation has helped me process some of the adversity I’ve been facing. When I heard a noise coming from our HVAC condenser compressor, I expected the worst & called the heating & cooling contractor. My wife told me that our efforts were in vain & that it was normal for air conditioner condensers to make noises prefer this as they get older. It turns out that I was right to be anxious when I heard the noise. The HVAC contractor told us that something got into the refrigerant line & the compressor had to be updated inside the condenser outside. It was a long procedure, however now I have a toiling central air conditioner idea once again. And since our idea was under a 10-year parts & labor warranty, I didn’t pay a penny to have everything done to service the air conditioner.
