My mother taught me that I can do anything in life

From the time that I was a little child I had always admired my mother.

While there are amazing parents out there in the world I suppose that few can compare to my mother in terms of toughness & persistence… Like numerous other mothers she was an extremely dedicated & hard working person.

Regardless of how tied up her afternoons were with work & other events she always made time for me & my siblings. Back when my siblings & I were still teenagers my mother worked full time as a Heating & A/C device service tech. There were some weeks that she worked so many hours all she would do while on the weekend was sleep all day long. Now her laboring that task might not seem like a sizable deal to people who are living in current times, however back in the late 70’s there were almost no other ladies laboring in the Heating & A/C device industry. Back in those times it was considered unladylike for ladies to toil in the Heating & A/C device industry. If our mother hadn’t been so persistent & naturally gifted when it came to that line of work she most likely would have never been hired for the work. My mother would most likely never confess this, however without her the path for other ladies getting into the Heating & A/C device industry would still be tough & much less welcoming. With the lessons that I have been able to learn from her & seeing what she was able to do despite being told that she wasn’t nearly good enough & wouldn’t last long I know that whatever I actually want to do I can if I keep moving forward.
