My son recently started his own HVAC company. I am very proud of him and all he has accomplished in the last fifteen years. When he wanted to go to school to become a HVAC technician, I thought it was going to be just like his other ventures. I had paid for him to go to school for many different careers, but he always just blew them off. Finally, one day he told me that he wanted to be a HVAC technician. I told him that if he really wanted to go to HVAC school, I would pay half of the tuition, but he would need to come up with the other half. I was shocked when he told me that he had found a job with a HVAC company. They were going to pay him to work in their inventory department, if he was going to HVAC school. He worked really hard for the entire six months that it took for him to get his certifications. When he was finished with the certificate course, he went on to get licensed in many specialty HVAC departments. I had to admit to him that I was really proud of him. Since then, he has become license in all fields of heating, ventilation and air conditioning. He is planning on specializing in ‘green’ HVAC. he wants to be a leader in the HVAC industry when it comes to only installing HVAC systems that follow the ‘green’ codes. I am extremely proud of his accomplishments, and I know that he will be tops in his field very soon.
