My “zoo” has advanced heating & cooling needs

If there’s one single thing that you should assume about me, it is how much I love critters.

My entire life has been spent with critters of all shapes & sizes.

Growing up, the two of us kids had the unofficial zoo for the city. When other families would find abandoned or damaged critters they would consistently drop them off right on our doorstep. Luckily, our old man didn’t mind too much & had even had some background medical knowledge. The people I was with and I diagnosed critters both big & small, & I l acquired to love every living creature. These mornings, as an adult, I maintain our own home zoo. I can tell you, it’s a lot more stressful to be the adult in the situation. Suddenly, I not only have to fuss about feeding & caring for the critters, but I also have to take care of the home where the two of us all live in. One of the largest challenges I face is consistently maintaining our indoor air conditions. You see, whenever you have a plethora of critters running around like I do, you automatically have more dander & hair floating in the air. Not only is this depleting to your respiratory method & any pollen irritations you might have, but it does a number on your Heating & Air Conditioning system. Since there’s so much extra pet hair in the air, our Heating & Air Conditioning air filters get blocked faster than you could believe. If I don’t keep up with adjusting out our air filters every 2 weeks, our central heating & cooling method winds up have to work over time due to the extra resistance. This amounts to added wear & tear on your natural gas furnace & a/c. The hair & dander are such a massive concern that I have set a permanent calendar reminder on the iphone, which notifies me every 2 weeks when our air filter is going to be completely jammed up. It’s a pain, but I will do whatever it takes for these critters!
