When my boyfriend Mark as well as I moved into our new condo, he and I got legitimately excited. This is because Mark and I both thought the two of us had Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C zone control, the bedroom, family room as well as bathroom each had a thermostat. He and I figured that every room could be set differently, hence zone control Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C. However it took us almost a week to figure out this was not the case. I kept getting the family room to a comfortable 64 degrees. Mark then would bump the bedroom heating up a bit, but we then would lower our family room to where a little AC would come on. He and I complained to one another about consistently increasing the several rooms thermostats. We thought the thermostats just were not taking our temperature control settings. Finally, I realized the problem: the thermostats are all hooked to each other. If you set the heating on in the family room, the bedroom and bathroom get the same temperature. The whole condo is a single centralized temperature. We just happened to get several thermostats to control the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C unit. Now that Mark and I know the thermostats are pointless, he and I don’t like them. Why have temperature control in the bathroom? We legitimately need only a single unit to control the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C. Being teased with the plan for HVAC zone control was cruel too. We both are contemplating on getting ductless Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C because Mark and I want it now. We already have the set up for it. We just need the indoor air handlers as well as the HVAC duct switched off. Then, the thermostats could be hooked to its own unit so Mark and I could have proper climate control that way.
