Our house contains a room that would just never hot up the way the rest of the house did.
- This wasn’t so terrible during the heat of summer.
However, where the two of us live, the heat of summer time lasts about 6 or 7 weeks. The frigid temperatures are much more prevalent in this zone. So, the frigid room is vacant nearly year round. I tried a few times to figure out what was up with that room. I even called in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C woman to help me out. However, she really wasn’t all that much help. She figured the way the house was renovated messed up the way the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C ductwork was designed to supply the treated air. Her only suggestion, at the time, was to move the temperature control to a more centrally situated area of the home. This seemed a superfluous move to me. So, I just sort of let it go. But now, I have to maintenance the situation because I am using that room as my apartment office. Recent changes in our company have resulted in me being over a larger region. Working from home, when I’m not on the road, is the best solution. But, I didn’t want to freeze in the frigid room. I tried a space gas furnace however that was a substantial dud. It just couldn’t do the task during the winter. I scoured the internet to see if this was a fairly common complaint. I did see numerous groups discussing it. However, the majority of the time, it was the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C that was overmatched. Then I came across what would end up being the answer to my problem. I found these little fans which are called room to room ventilators. They are able to fit in an hole in an adjoining wall. They are able to pull or push air in between rooms to equalize the temperature.
