Our natural air vents

You might think of landlords as fat cats sitting on loads of money.  However this is most certainly not accurate. Most landlords are not like the guy from the Monopoly game, they are respected hard working individuals just like me or you trying to make a few extra bucks.  Owning property and dealing with renters is a lot of times more trouble than it is worth, and this is something I have learned the hard way. I have only been a landlord for a year now but I may just sell the place and be done with it. My renters have been having an ongoing issues with their central Heating and A/C system in their house. The cooling and heating system were only installed a year ago, and I make sure to have them worked on regularly and serviced annually by a local Heating and A/C technician I grew up with.  I know for sure the A/C worked perfectly when they first moved in a year ago. However, they still complain to me that it does not work. I had my friend go by yet again, just the other day to inspect the entire Heating and A/C system from top to bottom. He came back to me and said that the family living there typically keeps their windows open, for natural ventilation, even while the air conditioning is still running. This has caused incredible stress on the cooling system, which is basically trying its best at cooling down the entire street. He told me that the almost-new Heating and A/C system now looked like it was almost eight years old, thanks to all the extra cooling it had been forced to do.
