When you are a kid, time seems to move very slowly. I remember when we used to leave school in June for the summer holidays. I felt like by the time August rolled around for school to reopen, I would probably be grown and never have to go back! The older you get though, the more time seems to fly. That is why it’s a good idea to start saving for retirement long before you are old.
HVAC technicians are very well paid. With almost every house having a HVAC unit installed these days, the need for AC tune-ups and service repairs is almost constant. When your healing/cooling system breaks down in the middle of the night and you begin to freeze, having a HVAC specialist available at that time, is a blessing. Of course, calling out a HVAC worker at that hour will cost you more than the regular fee. (Bad for you; good for the HCAC tech!) With all the money those technicians make, it’s easy for them to save towards retirement. I have also been informed that after a technician has acquired several years of work experience, his services are more highly demanded and his earnings may even double. Clearly, working as an HVAC technician is a very lucrative form of employment.
Of course, even when a person earns a million dollars a day, if he is wasteful and refuses to plan sensibly, he too may end up a beggar in his old age. Old age, with its attendant health problems, is no time to have to be scrounging for money.
Work, save and plan sensibly.
