Power outage in the south is not as excruciating because of heating

Power outages are not entirely a excruciating thing at our house.

When I used to live in the north, no electric was horrible.

The house was pitch black as well as the two of us could not use any water. That meant no flushing of toilets, no shower as well as no washing hands until the lines got fixed. The gentlemen always took their sweet time too. Typically our father would have to hook up a generator since the two of us could not go separate from heating. The house temperature would decrease in a matter of minutes. A perfectly heated house would be a chilly house in around several minutes flat. So anytime the power went out, the two of us were all frantic. In the south it stays bright. I hardly anxious about no lights. I also have a pool. I just shower as well as use the pool water for a lot of things. When it comes to HVAC, that is no concern either. I can go a long time separate from heating in the south, it just is not that cold. If the power goes out in the summer, no A/C is a little more stressful. I do worry that the lack of A/C will allow the indoor air to be moist. Then I might deal with mold growth… But, other than that, not having A/C is not too bad. I do save on our bills not running the AC. If I get a little too hot, I just swim in our pool. I think I could go weeks if I needed to, however funny enough, the power in the south gets fixed way faster than it ever did in the north.
