Removing ductwork with my mother

Anytime I need to lift something heavy, do a tough job or have a horrible project, I call my mother. My mom is a tank with home repair. She can lay drywall, grout tile and install a toilet faster than any man I have ever seen. My mother is amazing and my go to person for anything difficult. I am convinced that the two of us can do any home repair. The most recent project we did was remove the ductwork from my house. For years I had a central HVAC unit that used ductwork. It has died now and I am planning to get a ductless mini split. I did not want to have ductwork in the home for no reason. I looked up online and ductwork removal looked horrible. HVAC ducts are wide, heavy and made totally of metal. They are typically dirty, stinky and the house could fall down if you are not careful. I did not even ponder it for a second, I called my mom and the two of us got to work. After completing the removal of my ductwork, I can say it was worse than I thought. Removing the air ducts from the wall and ceiling is quite a project. You literally need to take everything down to bare studs in order to access the HVAC ducts. It was such a mess and exhausting work. I had to stay with my mother for almost two weeks since the removal took so long. But, I got the ductwork removed for free and my mom even made me dinner every night after we worked.
