Shelter Wasn’t Using air conditioning

I don’t like the plan of the bad babies being back there without a/c; it’s easily a necessity for all the people in our neck of the woods

A few months back, in the heat of a southern Summer plus the misery of a pandemic, I decided to go get myself a new best friend, but my pet that I had for twelve years died last May, plus come July, I just knew it was time to go get a new best friend from the shelter. I didn’t like the process at all, plus I entirely hated the shelter; When I went to the shelter twelve years ago, I remembered it as much nicer than it was this time. First of all, there were no people anywhere near the pets, so the bad babies were so isolated. Secondly, they were in their kennels without air conditioning. Imagine being in a brick block in July with no a/c! I distinctly remember when I got Scout, my previous pet, there was air conditioning in the kennel area. I assume the difference is that they used to have more than 2 people back with the pets, so the a/c was on because there were people there. This time, since they left the bad pets completely alone, they didn’t bother turning on the cooling system. It frustrated me quite a bit. I don’t like the plan of the bad babies being back there without a/c; it’s easily a necessity for all the people in our neck of the woods. It would be quite self-explanatory for a pet to suffer from heat exhaustion if he knocked over his bowl of water plus also had no Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C to keep him cool. Well, I was able to get my new best friend, plus she has nothing to worry about anymore.
