The air vents won’t seal up right

I had a bit of a sticky issue lately, and when I mean sticky, I really truly mean it in every single sense of the word! To get right to the point, the air vents of my Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit were not closing when I wanted them to! So, since the air vents would not close, I decided to try a little do it yourself kind of thing, and bought some duct tape, however you see, what would happen, is every time that I tried to close the air vents, they would stick and then slam right open again… When I got the duct tape and put it on the a single area of the air vents that seemed to be causing the issue, these things really would stay shut. It would be a bit of a task though having to scrape off the duct tape to be able to open up the air vents once again when I wanted the air to come out in that certain room… After about 2 weeks of dealing with this, I finally decided to chop down and just call my local Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation to come out to try to fix these air vent problems I was having. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist that they sent kind of laughed at myself and others with the duct tape all over the stadium; He was able to fix the sticking air vents within a matter of hours. He and the heating and A/C corporation he worked for were truly cool about the whole situation. They didn’t charge myself and others the full hourly rate, and pro rated the Heating, Ventilation and A/C call to charge myself and others for just a half an hour.
