You know, usually our cooling system plan is enough to handle all the humidity inside the house… Lately though, all of us have been getting bombarded with rainstorms.
- Some of the storms are absolutely poor and all of us get tons of lightning and thunder.
Every one of us luckyly never had our power go out, however it can be pretty scary when seeing some of these extreme lightning storms. Occasionally the lightning will span the whole length of the sky and the thunder shakes the entire house. With all this rain all of us have been getting, naturally the air has become severely humid. While the cooling system plan is working, it still has been feeling severely humid in the house. I checked the relative humidity on a little gauge I have that shows the temperature inside and the humidity. The humidity levels were way too high and if it kept going any higher, all of us might not have been able to breathe inside our home! I ended up investing in a couple of dehumidifiers. I unquestionably could have gotten a single whole-home dehumidifier, although I wanted a single upstairs and a single in the basement. These dehumidifiers have easily been working great. The humidity levels are back to normal even though it remains severely humid when you go outside. I’m so thankful that I thought to go for some dehumidifiers because all of us would have been suffering largely if all of us didn’t do anything about the humidity problem. I mean even with the cooling system working, the high humidity still made it assume severely uncomfortable and I do not like it when the air quality is not good.
