The heating options

I would like to believe that I’m a health conscious person. I run eight miles a week, lift weights four days a week, and my diet is pretty lean and clean. As far as diet and exercise go, I’m definitely one of the healthier people you’d meet! However, the healthy habits stop at how I treat my own body. I live in a pretty crowded apartment complex in the city, and the only form of air conditioning I have comes from a window unit mounted at the front of my apartment. For heat, I don’t have a fireplace, furnace or boiler, but I do have a thin radiator that might as well be disconnected! It’s brutal to get through a cold winter in this apartment, as I’ve been tempted to start a bonfire in my living room just to warm up! Of course, that would destroy the already poor indoor air quality I have in my apartment. To be fair, that’s mostly due to the air pollution surrounding me in the downtown district, but the property management could certainly stand to take a few steps to improve the air quality around here. For one, having an air purification system in each unit would work wonders for improved the quality of the air! UV air purifiers are especially good at cleansing the air of odor-causing pollutants as well as bacteria that can easily spread illness. If the property managers don’t want to install a UV air purifier in each unit, then I’ll be tempted to invest in one myself. I’ll just have to make sure I take it with me when it’s time to move out!
