The HVAC just gave up on me

Two years ago I was a happy homeowner, with a lovely wifey and three handsome cats, however my job was not going well. To be honest, I had been treading water at the company for some time now. My wifey had been promoted multiple times and was on her way to the top it seemed, however I was still toiling in the office. Suddenly, it all came together and started making sense, my wifey left me for the owner of the company, and I got let go by the company. My wifey, and she took the loft and all three cats with her. My uncle threw me a lifeline, and offered me a minimum wage position in his Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair shop. It was grunt work, sweeping floors and lifting heavy heating and cooling equipment all day long, however I gratefully accepted. My priority was to work hard, save money, and clear my head from this whole experience. It didn’t take long for me to lose myself into the manual labor of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C shop. My uncle was well established in the community, and had at least six different vans and 12 different full time Heating, Ventilation, and A/C technicians on staff. I filled in for whoever needed air ducts carried or tools loaded, and it did not take long for my uncle to see my work ethic and dedication. My uncle pulled me aside and said if I took some classes and earned my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C certification then he could promote me. I jumped at the chance, and within six weeks was earning twice the spend money as a heating and cooling upgrade specialist.
