The indoor air has a problem

My brother is a great man and a top notch HVAC technician. My brother was a wild kid, but he was good with his hands. He began fixing things around our house when he was young, so it was only natural that he would go into the HVAC repair business. He’s the person who taught me everything I know about HVAC repair, which he learned on his own or through his university. It came as no shock to anyone when I decided to join the family business. I had inherited my brother’s handiness and was good at fixing things, so I gravitated to HVAC repair. I went to school to be an HVAC technician, and learned how to fix everything from air conditioning units to walk-in coolers and furnaces. After I completed my classes, my brother even included my name in the name of our family business. Unfortunately, though, it seems that I can’t step out from my brother’s shadow. Everyone in town seems to know my brother well, and they all love him. People are constantly scheduling appointments for HVAC repair, and he can’t really keep up. I’ve taken some of these appointments from him, but when I show up to the appointment, people typically seem disappointed. Even with my skills and knowledge, people know my brother does a wonderful job, so they want him to be their HVAC technician. I almost wish I would have worked for another HVAC business so that I wouldn’t have to worry about living up to his standards. Hopefully my passion for HVAC repair will show through and I will be as successful as my brother.
