The survival of the fittest

My children are currently going through a bit of a mini war. Last month, we confirmed that we are moving into a new house. This house is very large and beautiful, we literally cannot wait until moving day. The dilemma is however, that throughout the house there is radiant heated floors. Living in the north, this is a pretty big luxury. With that being said, there is only two rooms in the house that come with radiant heated flooring. My wife and I are obviously getting the first one, and our four kids are currently battling for the second room. They are doing everything in the book to suck up to us as much as possible. One of the kids started taking out the trash, which is something he has never done. Another one is taking it upon himself to clean out the air ducts in the heating and cooling system three times a week. I bet he is saving me a nice load of money now that I don’t have to call my local HVAC service to come do it. With all of the kids wanting the room, and all of them sucking up, I think that I am going to just have to pick who get the room the old fashioned way. A coin toss! I am sure they are going to hate me for a while, but it’s the only way that is 100% fair! I am going to miss all of the free labor once we finally move into our new home.
