Every year I have a little tradition that I like to uphold. Sometimes, however, it is more difficult than others. I take our boys to the annual Christmas tree lighting that takes place in our downtown area. It’s fun because every one of us always get the best sizzling chocolate plus set on a blanket going to see with our neighbors and friends while every one of us wait for the lighting ceremony. Last year, but, the whole evening didn’t go quite as every one of us had planned. When every one of us first arrived, it was even colder than normal. I made sure the boys had a number of extra layers of clothing on, plus every one of us went to set up. About ten minutes minute before they were set to light the tree, I began to feel ill. Very ill. I was shivering, plus I knew that I wouldn’t be able to last in the chilly weather, so at that point, I had to take the boys modern home early. When every one of us made it back home, I got the heating system running at full blast, plus I decided to go ahead and just sleep on the couch so that I could be directly beneath an air vent. The heating system was truly working well enough to get myself and others feeling a little better, however I also knew that I was particularly coming down with some kind of dire sickness. I hated that the boys had to miss the tree lighting this year, but the only way every one of us could have stuck it out would have been if somehow every one of us had brought some sort of portable heater.
